Formation:
Couples facing couples randomly around the hall.
This dances comfortably in a large group of people.
Circle Left/Right, be sure people are facing slightly in the direction of travel. The gents should be dancing palms up and the ladies palms down.
Stars are formed by joining hands with the ones across from you with hand designated in call. If the call says four gents Star Right, four men will join right hands in a “tower”, this will make you walk clockwise or if you make a left hand star you will walk counterclockwise. Same applies for the ladies.
Do Sa Do: you and the designated dancer pass right shoulders then each slide to your right and pass back to back, back by each other passing left shoulders, end facing like you started.
Promenade: As a
unit the couple walks forward; at the end of the promenade the couple turns, as
a unit, to face the center of the set.
