EZ CIRCLE by Buddy Weaver

(Join hands, Circle left)

Circle to the right, the other way back

Face your partner, Do Sa Do

Four hands up, make a Right hand Star, lets turn it

Star left

When you're home, face the opposite, Do Sa Do

All the round, look her in the eye

Right shoulder pass by, say "hi new two"

Join hands, Circle Left

Formation: Couples facing couples like spokes of a wheel in a large circle around the hall.  This dances comfortably in a large group of people. AKA Sicilian Circle.

Home Position is the spot in the hall in which you started the dance

Circle Left/ Right, join hands to make a circle, then walk forward around the circle in the direction specified.  The gents should be dancing palms up and the ladies palms down.

Do Sa Do: you and your partner pass right shoulders then each slide to your right and pass back to back, back by each other passing left shoulders, end facing like you started.  This may be done with any lady you are facing.

Stars are formed by joining hands with the ones across from  you with hand designated in call.  If the call says four gents Star Right, four men will join right hands in a “tower”, this will make you walk clockwise or if you make a left hand star you will walk counterclockwise.  Same applies for the ladies.

Pass Thru is when two couples are facing; Pass Thru by passing right shoulders with person you are facing.

A Square consists of four couples numbered 1 though 4.  Number 1 couple will dance with their backs to the caller (music), #2 is to the right of #1, #3 is the right of #2, #4 will be to the right of #3.  Gents partners will stand to the gent’s right.  One and three couples are the Head couples.  Two and four couples are the Side couples.

Home Position is the spot in the square in which you started the dance

Grand Square: Side couples face each other; if you are nose to nose with someone, back away three steps and face in on the 4th beat.  If you are far away from someone, walk forward three steps to become nose to nose and face in on the 4th beat.  Repeat this walk-and-face three more time, but pause in place of the final face in.  Then “reverse” by doing the walk-and-face process another four times, again leaving off the final face in to finish exactly where you started.

Circle Left/ Right, join hands to make a circle, then walk forward around the circle in the direction specified.  The gents should be dancing palms up and the ladies palms down.

Stars are formed by joining hands with the ones across from  you with hand designated in call.  If the call says four gents Star Right, four men will join right hands in a “tower”, this will make you walk clockwise or if you make a left hand star you will walk counterclockwise.  Same applies for the ladies.
